life at its best and fullest.

the world that he gave his one and only Son,

Usually when people don't
want to have anything to do with God, it is
because they have had bad experiences with
people who were religious. It may surprise
you that the people who Jesus had the hardest
time with were the religious leaders of his
day. They ultimately killed him because Jesus
took a stand against bad religion.
What does God want?
He wants people to enjoy
the world he created for them, to live forever,
and to love each other.
God
wants people to experience life to the fullest (the way He
designed it to be lived) and He wants people to live forever. 
God
does not want to be impersonal and distant, He wants to be known personally.
That's why He came into the world as a man, so we could know Him.
